1. MCPS to Approve Budget: The Montgomery County Public Schools Board of Education has a meeting today and on the agenda is the final approval of the fiscal 2016 budget.

2. Contributing to Recovery: Emergent BioSolutions of Gaithersburg is donating $20,000 today to a group that helps veterans attend fishing retreats.

3. Towing Bill: The Montgomery County Council hears from the public on a bill today that would allow the County Executive to set certain rates on towing.

4. ACES Graduates: County leaders, educators, and community members will gather at the Music Center at Strathmore tonight to celebrate students who are a part of the Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) program.

5. Metro Safety: U.S. Senators Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin are expected to participate in a press conference today about Metro safety.
