Former MCPS Student Uses UNO to Talk About Bullying (VIDEO)

On September 28, members of the community participated at the Bullying in Schools Town Hall Meeting.

Johnnie Williams III, a motivation speaker and a graduate of Col. Zadock Magruder High School in Rockville, was the event’s moderator that had a panel of experts from Montgomery County State’s Attorneys Office, and Montgomery County Public Schools.

“It’s four key components to bullying. So I used the word Uno, one word game, to reflect upon bullying. … The purpose of this game isn’t to get rid of all your cards. The purpose of the game for me is how do we help kids get rid of bullying,” Williams said.

On this MyMCMedia Extra, Williams explains how the cards can be an effective tool to talk about bullying.
