House Fire Causes $650,000 in Damage

UPDATED on 8.28.14 at 6 a.m. Over 75 Montgomery County firefighters battled a house fire at 10807 Keller Street on August 27.

Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the fire caused an estimated $650,000 damage to the Cape Cod style home. Piringer said the two adults who lived there are now displaced and four cats are missing.

The fire originated on the first floor in the kitchen area and it has been ruled accidental. Piringer said the cause of the fire is believed to be electrical.
