Fighting Synthetic Marijuana (Photos & Video)
A new Maryland law takes effect on Oct. 1 that criminalizes the possession of designer drugs sometimes referred to as “K2/Spice” or “synthetic marijuana.”
Local officials held a press conference on Sept. 30 to detail the new law.
Montgomery County Councilmember George Leventhal (see photo right) is among those telling local merchants that the dangerous products they have been selling will now bring criminal charges if sold at their establishments.
