What is the Youth Mental Wellness PSA Video Contest?

This Youth Mental Wellness PSA video contest challenges youth in middle school and high school to create an original Public Service Announcement (PSA), using the peer-to-peer power of video to speak to friends and others about the mental wellness issues impacting their lives including bullying, depression, stress, anxiety, and suicide prevention. Videos can share information, offer resources and/or spread positive messages about the importance of mental wellness and taking care of your mental health. Be creative.

It is easy to enter, follow these steps:

  1. Create your video. You must follow all of the rules listed below.
  2. Upload your video to YouTube.
  3. Complete our Video Contest Submission Form and provide a link to your video.

This contest is open to all 6th – 12th grade students in Montgomery County, including public and private schools. Students can enter the contest individually or as a group. However, you may participate in one entry only. If a student in any way participates in more than one PSA video, all of those entries will be disqualified.
