Wootton Soccer Recognized (Photos)

The Wootton High School boys soccer team, which won the Maryland 4A state boys soccer championship last fall for the first time in the 42 year history of the school, was honored by the Montgomery County Council on Feb. 12. The Patriots last advanced to the state tournament in 1990, which was before any of the current team members were born. The team finished the 2012 season by winning the final 10 games.
