Woman’s Body Found Near Dickerson
The body of a 19-year-old woman, slain by an apparent gunshot, was found in the woods near Dickerson, a Montgomery County police statement said.
The woman, identified as Sara Gutierrez-Villatoro of Washington, D.C., was found about 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 25700 block of Old Hundred Road by a passer-by, police said.
She was found not far from the roadway.
The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
Detectives are urging anyone who may have information regarding the death to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
