Wise Wins State Championship Over QO (Video)

Henry A. Wise is the Maryland state 4A football champion.

The Pumas won 12-7 over Quince Orchard (QO) at Ravens stadium on Nov. 30.

For four quarters it was a defensive battle, with a costly unsportsmanlike penalty called against QO at the end of the 4th quarter as the Cougars were marching towards the goal line.

This is the second year in a row that QO has played for the state championship, and the second year the team has lost in Baltimore.
