Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory from midnight – 9 a.m. on Jan. 24.

The forecast calls for about an inch of snow with temperatures in the upper teens and lower 20s with winds blowing from the northeast five to ten miles per hour overnight becoming north 10 to twenty miles on Thursday morning.

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties. Residents should be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and they should use caution when driving.
