NWS Issues Winter Storm Warning for Montgomery County

snow FB headerUPDATED The National Weather Service (NWS) has upgraded a Winter Storm Watch to a Winter Storm Warning meaning heavy snow is imminent for Montgomery County beginning tomorrow morning, Tuesday, Jan. 21, through the evening hours.

According to the NWS, heavy snow with totals of 4-8″ is expected for Montgomery County.

Residents should begin winter storm preparations now.

Travel disruptions within Montgomery County and region are likely as roads quickly become snow covered and icy. Caution should be used during any travel and motorists should remain alert for ongoing plow/salt operations. Deteriorating weather conditions are now imminent, according to the NWS.
