Wind Advisory Alert Issued Monday
A wind advisory alert has been issued in Montgomery County until 6 p.m. on Monday. Montgomery County’s Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security said to “[e]xpect sustained winds of 30 – 40 mph, with gusts over 60 mph.”
These winds have been causing some people to lose power. the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security urges residents to report any power outages, in case others have not done so.
The office also cautioned on Twitter to be careful while driving, and avoid any “downed wires.”
