Wind Advisory

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory for Montgomery County until 6 a.m. tomorrow (Jan. 31). A wind advisory means wind gusts of 45 to 50 MPH are expected. The strongest winds are expected ahead of a cold front late this afternoon and evening. Winds, south at 25 to 35 MPH with gusts up to 45 to 50 MPH will shift west behind the cold front overnight.

These strong winds could bring down tree limbs and cause scattered power outages. Unsecured objects may be blown about and it may become difficult to maneuver high profile vehicles.
