Whitman Boy’s LAX defeats Sherwood 12-4 last Wednesday (PHOTOS)
Sherwood High School Sandy Spring, Maryland Wednesday evening.
The visiting Viking’s boy’s lacrosse team of Whitman High outscored the Warriors of Sherwood High School 12-4 in an early season match up this past Wednesday night. It was apparent 15 seconds into the contest that Whitman came ready to play as they scored the first of the 12 goals they totaled for the game.
The early season match up was one where unsettled situations and ground balls would dominate play on both sides. Combined ground ball total for both sides was 34, with a slight edge to Sherwood recovering more than half of that total.
Scoring for the Vikings were #15 Doug Bruchaleschi (5), #21 Owen Roeage (3), #7 Garret Wilcox and #1 Matt Anderson both with (2). Scoring for Sherwood #4 Daniels (2), #10 Grant (1) and #24 Rhoades (1)
