Wheaton Redevelopment Walking Tour (Video)

Montgomery County Executive joined by Council President Nancy Navarro led a walking tour of the Wheaton urban district on June 8. The county has issued request for proposals to select the developer who will redevelop the urban district of Wheaton. The county is encouraging community involvement in the process. Take a look.

A public meeting is scheduled for June 12 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Wheaton Library, 11701 Georgia Ave. Attendees will learn more details about the project and have the opportunity to share interests and concerns related to the redevelopment proposals. Potential developers will be there to hear comments and feedback.
