What to Do on Super Bowl Sunday in Montgomery County

Live in Montgomery County and still need plans for Super Bowl Sunday? Here’s a guide of events happening in different areas of the county celebrating the big football game between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.

Bethesda

  • Hope Floats Bethesda, a flotation therapy spa, is having a Super Bowl special on their float tanks from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
  • Mon Ami Gabi, a French bistro, will have a Big Day Brunch from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. (They are also closing at 7 p.m.)
  • Tommy Joe’s will have a Super Bowl Sunday Funday all day, kicking off the event with the Capitals vs. Bruins watch party at 12:30 p.m.

Brookeville

  • The Manor at Silo Falls is kicking off the Super Bowl starting at 4 p.m. They’ll have drink specials during the halftime show, and their full dinner menu will be available starting at 8 p.m.

Burtonsville

  • Khana – A Claypot Grille, will have a “Not Your Average Wing Special” for the big game. You can eat the wings until 3 a.m. if you’re planning on a late night celebration (or you could cope with your team’s loss by eating wings).
  • Seibel’s Restaurant and UpTown Pub is hosting a Super Bowl 53 Party from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. In addition to food specials, they’ll be playing commercial bingo.

Gaithersburg

Poolesville

  • Bassett’s Fine Food & Spirits is celebrating the pregame with a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Starting at 6:30, a free hot dog will be offered for every drink purchased.
  • Cuginis Restaurant & Bar will have happy hour prices for drinks throughout the night. Anyone picking up or ordering wings should pre-order these in advance.
  • House of Poolesville is hosting an Annual Super Bowl Party and Chili Cook-off starting at 4 p.m. Make sure to sign up for the Best Chili contest in advance. The event is free.

North Bethesda

  • There will be a Big Game Brunch at Summer House Santa Monica from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Any guest who dines in their favorite jersey will receive a Summer House gift card equal to the price of their meal that they can use on a future visit.

Potomac

Rockville

  • Color Me Mine Rockville is offering people who wear a football jersey a free studio fee on Sunday.
  • There will be a “Wheel of Seafood” at Life Crawfish & Seafood Restaurant from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. Customers can win free craw fish, clams, mussels, shrimp, and more by spinning the wheal. There will be other games as well.
  • Cafe2020 Korean Kitchen + Bar has an open bar watch party during the game starting at 5:15 p.m.
  • Finnegan’s Wake in Rockville Town Center will play the game on their big scream and will have a happy hour and half priced wings throughout the game.

Silver Spring

  • McGinty’s Public House will display the game on their big screen, and they will have food and drink specials throughout the day.
  • Fusion Bar and Grill will have food and drink specials throughout the night. Also, for $40 per person, you can reserve a seat at their open bar.
  • Inspiration Community Church is hosting a Football Party Potluck from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The church will provide paper goods and beverages, but party goers should bring a dish to share.
  • DC Metro Girls Pint Out, a national craft beer organization for women, is partnering with Denizens Brewing Co. for the big game. Together they will have a “Flag-chip Pairing” event and will pair chips (made in house) with four Denizens core beers. The drinks will be available all day, but DC Metro Girls Pint our will be at Denizens from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Takoma Park

Wheaton

  • Unplugged Restaurant & Sports Bar will be playing the big game on 14 high-definition televisions and one big projection screen. They’ll have a live DJ, raffles, giveaways and plenty of food specials.
