Westfield Mall Offering Cherry Blossom Festival Activities

Westfield Montgomery mall in North Bethesda is celebrating the arrival of spring by paying homage to the iconic cherry blossoms.

From March 20 through April 12, Westfield Montgomery will become a Center in Bloom, complete with floral and fashion exhibits throughout the center, pink lighting inside and out, and cherry blossoms on display to honor the Washington, D.C. area’s favorite springtime tradition, the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

On March 29, Westfield Montgomery will host a signature event to celebrate the National Cherry Blossom Festival with a series of Floral Design Classes in partnership with fashion retailor Lilly Pulitzer. Guests will be inspired by vibrant Lilly Pulitzer prints and, with the guidance of professional floral designers, learn how to craft their own springtime floral décor at home. Space will be limited. Other festive Westfield Montgomery offerings in the coming weeks include participation in the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s Petal Pass program, which provides shoppers with exclusive deals throughout the Festival through the free Festival app. Visitors can receive a complimentary branded tote bag with their Petal Pass at Westfield Montgomery’s guest services desk, and select retailers and restaurants will also offer exclusive Petal Pass discounts and promotions.
