Visit Gaithersburg’s Washingtonian Center Nov. 15 for their tree lighting ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m. Silver Spring Fountain Plaza’s “Re-imagining the Holidays” tree lighting is Saturday, Nov. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. Holiday theatrical performances opening this week include Olney Theatre’s The King and I and Adventure Theatre MTC’s mystery Twelve Days of Christmas.
Find unique gifts at Strathmore’s artsy bazaar featuring 20 of Washington’s finest museum shops throughout the weekend. Stop by Good Counsel in Olney or Seeking Equality Empowerment and Community’s Headquarters in Silver Spring Saturday for their holiday boutiques.
