• Imagination Stage in Bethesda presents Mouse on the Move for young children ages one to five and their families at 10 and 11:15 a.m.
• Silver Spring Library hosts a used book sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children may enjoy the free program “The Magic School Bus: Inside the Human Body” at 10:30 a.m.
• Adventure Theatre presents Pinkalicious in Glen Echo Park with shows at 11 a.m., 2 and 4:30 p.m.
• the Puppet Co. presents The Wizard of Oz at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Glen Echo Park
• Imagination Stage presents The BFG based on the book by Roald Dahl at 11 a.m., 1:30 and 4 p.m.
• The Rockville Rotary Twillight Runfest & Block Party starts at 7 p.m. in downtown Rockville
• BlackRock Summer Concerts continue with Chopteeth at 7 p.m. in Germantown
• The National Players present The Tempest at Olney Theatre at 8 p.m.

Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center

• Free rabies clinic for cats and dogs from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the county’s animal services center in Derwood
