• the Puppet Co. Playhouse presents The Nutcracker for the 27th year. Families will enjoy this Washington tradition in Glen Echo Park. Performances today are at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• The Brookside Garden of Lights display reopens today for the first time since 2013. Enjoy a winter garden walk through the light display starting at 5:30 p.m. today.
• Olney Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls continues this week. Tonight’s show is at 8 p.m.
• Tenor saxophonist Ronnie Laws performs at the Bethesda Blues & Jazzs Club at 8 p.m.

• Glen Echo’s Holiday Art Show & Sale continues today with hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• The Puppet Co. Playhouse presents The Nutcracker for the 27th year. Families will enjoy this Washington tradition in Glen Echo Park. Performances at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Hope Garden Children’s Ballet Theatre presents A Christmas Carol at F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville at 1:30 and 7 p.m.
• Olney Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls has two performances at 2 and 8 p.m. today.
• Adventure Theatre presents A Lump of Coal for Christmas at 2 p.m. at their theater in Glen Echo Park.
• Songwriter Kieran Kane performs at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 7:30 p.m. Kane leads a workshop earlier in the day at 3 p.m.
• Brookside’s Garden of Lights show opens at 5:30 p.m. tonight.
• Gaithersburg’s Winter Lights show opens at 6 p.m.
• Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club presents “The James Brown Experience” at 8 p.m.

Sunday, November 29
