• Water Safety Day starts at the Bohrer Park outdoor pool at 3:30 p.m. This free event includes demonstrations for youth to help them be safe in water.
• The Third Annual Autism Night Out begins at 6 p.m. at the Public Safety Training Academy. This free event hosted by the county police provides safety information and family fun.
• The King Teddy Band performs in Rockville Town Square from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Enjoy this free outdoor concert.
• Downtown Live outdoor concerts continue in Silver Spring tonight with the Ro Cube & Friends band at 6:30 p.m.
• Lakefront Live outdoor concerts begin tonight at the Rio Lakefront Pavilion in Gaithersburg. Tonight the Dixie Power Trio performs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
• Time to dance at Totally Tango. First enjoy the performance of QuinTango, and then with some instruction dance the tango. Gaithersburg Arts on the Green event  at 7 p.m.
• Kingpen Slim appears at Fillmore Silver Spring at 7:30 p.m.
• The Front Row fashion show begins at 5:30 p.m. at Bethesda Row.
• Olney Theatre presents Arthur Miller’s The Price at 7:45 p.m.
• Entertainer Mark Nadler performs at AMP by Strathmore at 8 p.m.
• Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club presents “Grainger and the New Pockets Featuring Meritxell” at 8 p.m.
• Round House Theatre in Bethesda presents the comedy NSFW at 7:15 p.m. Viewer discretion is advised. Meet director John Vreeke at 7:15 for a pre-performance talk.

Saturday, May 30

• Rockville Police with the Sheriff’s Office are hosting a Prescription Drug Take-Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rockville Police Headquarters. This is a great way to dispose of unused or expired medications safely.
• Join in the fun at Community Day at the Davis Library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Imagination Stage’s ‘Saturday Song Circle‘ for young children features Giraffes Can’t Dance at 10 a.m.in Bethesda.
• Adventure Theatre-MTC presents The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with performances at 11 a.m., 2 and 4:30 p.m.
• Join your neighbors for Zumba on the Square at the Rockville Town Square at 10:30 a.m. Gold’s Gym leads everyone in a free Zumba session.
• The annual Gaithersburg Memorial Day Observance is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Christman Park.
• The Puppet Co. presents Cinderella in Glen Echo Park at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Rockville’s annual Relay for Life begins at noon at the Johns Hopkins campus.
• The 35th Washington Folk Festival begins at noon in Glen Echo Park. Parking is available in the GEICO parking lot with free shuttle service.
• Interested in meditation? The Interfaith Meditation Session will be held at the Kehilat Shalom Synagogue in Gaithersburg from 12:45 to 1:25 p.m. A RSVP is requested.
• Olney Theatre presents Arthur Miller’s The Price at 1:45 and 7:45 p.m.
• Round House Theatre in Bethesda presents the comedy NSFW at 7:15 p.m. Viewer discretion is advised.
• The Washington Spirit take on the Portland Thorns FC at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds at 7 p.m. Come out to root our only professional sports team in Montgomery County.

• Adventure Theatre-MTC presents The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• The Puppet Co. presents Cinderella in Glen Echo Park at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• The 35th Washington Folk Festival begins at noon in Glen Echo Park. Parking is availalbe at the GEICO parking log with free shuttle shuttle service to the park.
• Youth are invited to help pack food for the hungry at the Interfaith Youth Service Day at the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center in Potomac at 1:30 p.m.
• Olney Theatre presents Arthur Miller’s The Price at 1:45 p.m.
• Film screening of ‘Enemy of the Reich’ followed by a discussion at the Islamic Society of Washington Area in Silver Spring at 2:30 p.m.
• Round House Theatre in Bethesda presents the comedy NSFW at 3 p.m. Viewer discretion is advised.
• Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club present the Hit Men at 7:30 p.m. This group is composed of former stars of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
