Friday, April 3

• Visit Strathmore Mansion for a crafting workshop, reception and tour at the Art & Wine Night at 7 p.m.
• Adventure Theatre-MTC presents The Wonderful Wizard of Oz at 7 p.m. in Glen Echo Park
• Take a dance lesson and join in the “Salsa and Bachata Dance Party” at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown at 7:30 p.m.
• It’s Open Mic Night at Kentlands Mansion in Gaithersburg at 8 p.m.

Saturday, April 4

• Visit Glen Echo Park’s Art Explorers Family Studio for drop-in parent/child art activities from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Adventure Theatre-MTC presents The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• The Gaithersburg Skate park opens today. Weekend hours are from noon to 3 p.m.
• Visit the county agricultural center for Gaithersburg’s Indoor Baby Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Meet the resident artists of Sandy Spring Museum at their Open House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Young children ages 1-5 will enjoy Blue, an interactive theater experience at Imagination Stage at 10 and 11:15 a.m.
• Strathmore’s “Children’s Art Talk & Tour” are designed for young art lovers in the Mansion at 10:15 a.m. A guided tour is followed by an art activity.
• Enjoy a tour of the Strathmore Mansion at 1 p.m. This is a free event that does not require reservations.
• Alif Laila performs Classical Indian music at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn at 8 p.m.

Sunday, April 5

• Young children ages 1-5 will enjoy Blue, an interactive theater experience at Imagination Stage at 10 and 11:15 a.m.
• Learn to dance at Glen Echo’s Waltz Time beginning at 2:45 p.m. and stay for the Waltz Dance from 3:30 to 6 p.m. in the Spanish Ballroom
• Want to learn to Tango? Attend the Argentine Tango dance session at Glen Echo Park begining at 6:30 p.m.
• The Folklore Society of Greater Washington presents traditional American contra dancing at Glen Echo’s Spanish Ballroom at 7 p.m.
