Friday, March 30

10 am-2:30 pm: Egg Hunt at Meadowside Nature Center
(5100 Meadowside Lane Rockville MD 20853)
Search for real eggs in the meadow, then dye and decorate the eggs you find using natural dyes. Enjoy other spring-themed activities throughout the event as well. Fun for the entire family. Don’t forget to bring a basket to collect your eggs. Reservations are required to ensure enough eggs for all.

Saturday & Sunday (as well as other weekends in April): Bunnyland at Butler’s Orchard

Enjoy a hayride down the Bunny Trail, race the Rubber Duck Derby, hunt for colorful eggs (we provide the basket!), exchange eggs for a goodie basket to take home, visit with the farm’s very own Country Bunny, ride pedal tractors, play in Hayromp and Playground, hop in inflatables, ride the giant slides, see bunnies, lambs and chicks, get your face painted and ride a pony. $9 per child and $7 per adult. Open 10 am-4 pm.

Saturday, March 31

10-11:30 am: Pilgrim’s Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt at Pilgrim Lutheran Church
(5500 Massachusetts Avenue  Bethesa, Maryland 20816)
Free family community event that includes hunting eggs, crafts, games, cake walk, face painting, prizes and refreshments. If it rains, the activities will move indoors. Don’t forget to bring your basket and your camera. All ages welcome.

10 am-1 pm: Community Easter Egg Hunt in Downtown Silver Spring
(1 Veterans Place Silver Spring, MD 20910)
Free family egg hunt organized by MomWise. Activities include Easter Egg hunt, scavenger hunt, musical Easter basket, Easter games, arts and crafts with music by a DJ.

10 am-2 pm: Spring Carnival at Derwood Alliance Church
(16501 Redland Road  Rockville, MD 20855)
Rain or shine, enjoy pictures with the Easter bunny, egg hunt for children ages birth – 5th grade, climbing wall, moon bounces, games and prizes, fire truck, refreshments, and more. Everything is free, including the parking. Ride-On bus 57.

10 am-Noon: Highlight Easter Egg Drop at Northwest Branch Recreational Park

On Saturday, March 31st, we are dropping 12,000 Easter eggs from a helicopter at our Second Annual Easter Egg Drop in partnership with Camp Sonshine! We’ll have prizes, bounce houses, candy, and more. This will definitely be a memorable Easter for all.
