Weather Causing Closings and Cancellations Tuesday
In addition to closing Montgomery County Public Schools early today, the weather is forcing other closings and cancellations across the county.
Montgomery County activated the Storm Operations Center early this morning to monitor the weather and road conditions. They are ready to respond as needed.
Federal agencies have a 2-hour staggered early departure. Employees may take unscheduled leave to depart prior to their designated time.
Montgomery College will close at noon today.

Officials from Montgomery County Department of Recreation have cancelled all programs, including the county’s senior centers.

Locust Grove Nature Center and Black Hill Visitor Center are closed, according to Montgomery Parks’ officials.
The snow is lovely to look at today, but it has an impact. The following facilities are closed: Locust Grove Nature Center and Black Hill Visitor Center.
