Glenstone Museum: This museum in Potomac integrates art, architecture, and landscape into a serene and contemplative environment. The museum features post-World War II artworks in more than 234,000 square feet of exhibit space. Admission is free, but reservations are required. Currently, there are no reservations available through June. However, patrons who arrive via the Montgomery County Ride On bus are guaranteed entry to Glenstone. Bunnyland: Buttler’s Orchard’s annual celebration of spring is great family fun. Enjoy a hayride, hunt for colorful eggs, ride pedal tractors, and more. Wings of Fancy: Brookside Gardens’ live butterfly and caterpillar exhibit runs now through Sept. 22. Visitors to the exhibit are surrounded by hundreds of brilliant live butterflies from North America, Costa Rica, Africa and Asia soaring among colorful flowers and going about their business of drinking nectar and looking for others of their kind. Learn about metamorphosis, the important role butterflies play in healthy ecosystems, and how to ensure these beautiful insects thrive in our gardens.
