Water Main Break on Georgia and Connecticut Avenues
A 16-inch water main break at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Georgia Avenue caused some traffic delays on Friday evening.
According to officials from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC), two northbound lanes of Georgia Avenue are closed for the repairs. Commuters are encouraged to find another route.
The water has been shut off and repairs are underway.
