Water Main Break in Rockville

The repairs have been completed at Maryland Avenue and West Argyle Street. The road is fully open.

One day after a water main break, the city of Rockville reports a second break at the intersection of Maryland Avenue and West Argyle Street. Repair crews are on site but motorists should expect delays.

According to a city of Rockville alert, the roadway will be closed down to one lane at a time and flag persons will be in place to assist the movement of traffic. Completion is expected by 5 p.m. on Nov. 15.

A water main break at the intersection of Maryland Avenue and West Argyle Street may impact the flow of traffic today (Nov. 14) in Rockville.

While repair work is being conducted, the roadway will be reduced to one lane of traffic controlled by flag persons at this location from noon to approximately 6 p.m.
