According to the Maryland Department of Health, nearly one million people in the state have received the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and more than 744,000 people, or 9.5%, have received the second dose. The state is currently in phase 1C of its vaccination plan.
In Montgomery County, more than 189,000 residents have received the first dose and more than 92,000, or 8.8%, have received the second dose.
