Volunteers Help Warrior Canine Connection Clean Up Tornado Damage

Last month’s tornado near the Warrior Canine Connection headquarters in Boyds left a hefty amount of damage. No people or animals were injured but WCC is now facing the daunting task of rebuilding in order to continue providing highly trained service dogs to veterans and wounded warriors.

Warrior Canine Connection hosted a Community Clean-up Day on Saturday to help with post-tornado clean-up and rebuilding efforts. 150 volunteers and community members lent a helping hand to get the job done. Volunteer projects included repairs to structural damage, fence mending and re-painting, and assembling new furniture.

WCC is raising funds to help with repair costs, click here for more information.
