Vigil For Ruth Bader Ginsburg Will Be Held In Rockville

A vigil is planned in memory of Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died Sept. 18. It will be held Wednesday from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Courthouse Square Park in Rockville.

The vigil is sponsored by the Sunrise Movement of Silver Spring, which is part of the national Sunrise Movement. It is a youth movement working to stop climate change and create jobs. It has more than 400 hubs, including local ones in Silver Spring, Bethesda, Rockville, Clarksburg and College Park.

Attendees at the vigil on Maryland Avenue are urged to wear black.
