Veirs Mill Corridor Plan Meeting Takes Place Tonight in Silver Spring
A community meeting to discuss the Veirs Mill Corridor Master Plan takes place tonight from 7-9 p.m. at Sargent Shriver Elementary School in Silver Spring.
According to a news release, the Montgomery County Planning Department’s discussion will focus on the purpose and goals of the plan, and major planning topics that will be analyzed in detail. The meeting will address ways to increase pedestrian and bicycle safety, access the proposed bus rapid transit (BRT) stations on Veirs Mill Road and improve shopping centers and major public facilities along the corridor.
Residents and stakeholders are invited to participate.
