Vehicle Crashes Into Townhouse in Gaithersburg (PHOTO & VIDEO)
A Gaithersburg family was displaced from their home on Christmas Eve after an SUV crashed into their residence at 374 West Deer Park Road.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the driver of the SUV lost control and the vehicle jumped the curb of the parking lot and crashed into the townhouse.
According to Piringer, two people in the vehicle, an adult and a child, were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Piringer said a building inspector was called to the scene and ruled the home was unsafe to occupy because of structural damage from the crash.
