Urban Butcher Pre-Launch Party (Photos)

A pre-launch opening party was held at Urban Butcher, 8226 Georgia Avenue, in Silver Spring (just two blocks south of the Silver Spring Metro stop on the Red Line) on Dec. 10.

According to its website, “Urban Butcher is a bohemian gathering place that celebrates the butcher’s art and brings the fruits of the old craft of husbandry to the urban mix.” The restaurant is also home to a butcher shop and custom-designed curing cellar.
