Upper County Pool Closed for Emergency Repairs

Montgomery County’s Upper County Outdoor Pool at 8211 Emory Grove Road in Gaithersburg has temporarily closed for emergency repairs on a main water line into the pool/facility.

The Therapeutic Recreation Summer Swim scheduled for August 7 has been canceled. Interested participants are encouraged to register for Summer Swim scheduled at Martin Luther King, Jr. Pool on August 16.

At this time, there is no estimated time frame for completion of repairs. As more information on the project becomes available, the Recreation Department’s website will be updated.

Residents are reminded that Montgomery County Recreation has six other outdoor pools that will be open through September 1.
