Two Workers Rescued After Falling into Trench in Potomac
Two workers were rescued about 8 p.m. Thursday after they fell into a trench while working on the foundation of a home in Potomac.
A crew of four was working on a home on Martingale Court when the trench collapsed trapping two of the workers in mud. One of the workers went to neighboring home to call 911, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer. The trench was 8 to 10 feet below ground, according to Piringer.
