Two MCPS Elementary Schools Offer Preview for Fall In-Person Instruction

Two Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) elementary schools, Roscoe Nix and Arcola, that operate on an innovative calendar have already welcomed students back for five days a week of in-person instruction

“Face-to-face learning gives students an opportunity to engage in academics hands-on,” said Arcola Elementary School Principal Emmanuel Jean-Philippe. “The virtual aspect for some students is a little tougher. Now they’re able to get what they need with their teachers,”

MyMCM got a glimpse on Tuesday of students and staff in full swing at Arcola Elementary School which MCPS says is a preview of what in-person learning will be like come fall.
