Twinbrook Library Closed Temporarily

The Twinbrook Library will be closed today (Sept. 23) through Tuesday, October 1 for installation of new carpeting throughout the facility. The library will re-open on Wednesday, October 2 at 10 a.m.

The book drop will remain open for returns while the building is closed. Customer holds will be held at the library and be available when it re-opens on October 2. Customers should wait to receive a hold pickup notice (email or paper) before going to the branch to pick up their items.

Customers who want to renew books during the closed period can do so either online at www.montgomerycountymd.gov/library, at any other Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) branch or by calling Ask A Librarian at 240.777.0001.

Twinbrook Library customers are encouraged to use the nearby Aspen Hill Library at 4407 Aspen Hill Rd. or Rockville Memorial Library at 21 Maryland Ave. or any of the Montgomery County Public Libraries to check out books and other materials, and to use the catalog and internet computers.

Electronic access to the MCPL website will not be affected by the temporary closure.
