Turn Around, Don’t Drown: Flash Flood Warning Issued for MoCo
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Montgomery County effective until 11 a.m. today.
According to the National Weather Service, up to one inch of rain has already fallen. Some of the locations expected to experience flooding include Bethesda, Damascus, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Olney and Rockville.
Montgomery County fire and rescue officials are reminding motorists not to drive thru flooded areas. Turn around, don’t drown.
County officials have posted a list of roads online that are known to flood.
A flash flood watch remains in effect for Montgomery County until Friday morning.
