Halloween Candy

Treats 4 Our Troops

MoverMoms is a Bethesda based non-profit organization that has coordinated the collection of Halloween candy across the region since 2007. This year, MoverMoms will be collecting any extra wrapped candy to donate to US troops serving in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Guam as a winter holiday treat. The candy is packed and sent to Boatsie’s Boxes in West Virginia, which packs it all in Christmas stockings for U.S. troops who are serving abroad.

A collection drive is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 3 at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, at the East-West Highway entrance, and at the Walt Whitman High School parking lot.
