Travel Mesa Verde to Estes Park
Well folks Estes Park is our final destination of this 2000+ mile car journey through the southwest. We left Mesa Verde Colorado Friday morning and stopped to see the cliff dwellings. This is the way the many soutwestern Indian tribes built their homes thousands of years ago.. They used the resources of the land and built within the cliffs. We left there and expected a 7hr trip to Estes Park, Colorado but it turned into a 10hr road trip, OYE!! We finally got there wiped out. But we knew we didnt have to get up and go anywhere Saturday until the wedding Saturday night so it was ok. Saturday morning came and the weather is beautiful approx 65 degrees and of course no humidity. We stayed in a cabin high up in the mountains, some pictures here to look at. When we woke up we had many visiters, wild turkeys, a variety of birds and as many chipmunks you could imagine.Needless to say out came the bloggie and my camera as well. No captions this time because it only 2 locations and it is pretty obvious which are cliff dwellings, which are in at the cabin and the visitors and just some scenery during the trip. Thats about it for us, enjoy the pictures and will be back in town Sunday the 25th.
Great photos, I want to see the originals. Thanks
This looks like a great trip!
