Townhouse Fire in Gaithersburg (PHOTOS)
A townhouse fire in Gaithersburg on Friday caused $30,000 in damage and displaced two adults and two cats on Midline Court.
Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the bulk of the fire in the Diamond Farms townhouse was contained to the first floor.
According to Piringer, smoke alarms alerted the occupants to the fire and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire, Piringer said, is electrical in nature.
