Townhouse Fire in Clarksburg Causes $350,000 in Damage (PHOTOS)
UPDATED Montgomery County firefighters were called to the scene of a townhouse fire in Clarksburg early this morning.
According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the fire damaged an unoccupied townhouse that was under construction at 13200 Getty Lane.
Piringer said heavy fire was showing when the first units arrived at the scene. According to Piringer, 75 firefighters were called to battle the blaze.
A salamander heater placed too closely to combustibles ignited the blaze, Piringer said. The cause has been ruled accidental.
There were no injuries reported, he said.
Damage is estimated at $350,000, Piringer said.

Its still lucky that no one got injured in the fire. But it’s still sad that the fire damage took too many things and cost many damages and properties.
