Bomb Squad Conducts Explosives Training in Poolesville
Residents in the Poolesville and Dickerson area, do not be alarmed when you hear loud “booms” on Thursday.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service’s Bomb Squad and Montgomery County Police Department will be conducting an explosives training at the Outdoor Shooting Range located on Elmer School Road in Dickerson. Training will take place all day Thursday but “boom” sounds should be expected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The last explosives training took place June 26 and no issues were reported.
There will be no road closures in the area.
