Power Outages Follow Strong Storms in Montgomery County

UPDATED Over 3,700 Pepco customers are without power in the Gaithersburg area of Montgomery County as strong storms move into the area.

According to the National Weather Service, winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include Rockville, Gaithersburg, Damascus, Olney, and Germantown.

A Pepco spokesperson said crews are on the way to access the situation.
