Thefts from Autos Reported in Kentlands Community of Gaithersburg

Gaithersburg police officers are reminding motorists to lock their vehicle’s car doors and windows.

Officer Dan Lane said between Oct. 2nd and Oct. 9th, there have been four thefts from automobiles along Inspiration Lane, Booth Street, Treehaven Street and Chestertown Street in the Kentlands community of Gaithersburg.

According to Lane, in each case an unknown suspect entered the vehicle through an unlocked door or trunk and removed property. Lane said the property includes personal property, electronic devices and other miscellaneous items.

Lane said it is important for motorists to remove or hide any items of value in your vehicle.
