The Rockville Business Academy is Open For Business

Registration is now open for the Rockville Business Academy– a free program that gives business owners and managers the tools they need to grow their business, connect with city officials, and better serve customers.

The program is scheduled for Oct. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon at the EVEN Hotel and is presented by the City of Rockville; Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI); the Rockville Chamber of Commerce; and the Montgomery Business Development Corporation (MBDC).

Rockville officials said residents interested in starting a new business can also participate.

Topics will include:
• How to do business with the city;
• City demographics;
• Planning and development services;
• Best environmental practices for your business;
• Keeping your business and employees safe;
• Commercial code enforcement;
• How to get more involved in the city.
