The Little Mermaid, Jr. at Adventure Theatre

The last three performances of the Little Mermaid, Jr.will take place this weekend at Adventure Theatre . The Little Mermaid, Jr.is premiere student production of the 2012-2013 Season. The production showcases the talents of its musical theater academy students.

Showtimes are:
Friday Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.
Saturday Feb. 2 at 7 p.m.
Sunday Feb. 3 at 2 p.m.

In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.

These intensive performance and training opportunities are for motivated and talented musical theater students, and complement the National & State Fine Arts Standards of Learning, providing a challenging outlet for students to develop the skills necessary to be successful, professional performers. Performances will be held at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, , Rockville, MD 20852. Tickets are $19 and can be purchased online at Adventure Theatre .
