A rundown of the latest closings and delays in Montgomery County:
Montgomery County Public Schools and all administrative offices are closed today, March 17, because of emergency weather conditions. All school and community activities in school buildings are canceled. For more information, visit MCPS’s website.
Montgomery County government will open today at 10 a.m. with “liberal leave” for nonessential employees. Senior centers are closed. County-provided recycling/trash collections will begin at 10 a.m. today. Streets not navigable will be collected March 18. For more information: www.montgomerycountymd.gov.

City of Takoma Park offices are closed March 17 and all day and evening programs canceled. The Police Department is open for emergency services; administrative offices will be closed.
