Teen Safety Issues Will Be Discussed During Town Hall on April 22

The Montgomery County Women’s Bar Foundation will hosts its annual “Preparing for Success” program for students on April 22 at Montgomery College Germantown Campus.

With a theme of “Navigating Life, the Streets and Social Media,” this town hall meeting is aimed to teach participants about safety issues that teens and parents face daily.

The program will start off with a key note speaker and parents and students will break off into panel discussions with topics ranging from hosting teen parties, staying safe in the age of social media and busting the myths with police encounters.

This event is open to middle school students, high school students and parents at no cost.
