Teddy Bears Help

The Argyle Middle School “Foreseeing the Future” afterschool program, which is operated by Crittenton Services of Greater Washington, participated in the Teddy Bear collection drive of Montgomery County’s Family Justice Center by collecting 55 Teddy Bears and donating them to center devoted to promoting safety, well-being and healing for victims of family violence.

On Dec. 17, the Argyle students came to the center in Rockville and presented the bears, which will be given to children who are in the center as their family members seek help.

Montgomery County Councilmember Phil Andrews, who chairs the county’s Domestic Violence Coordinating Committee, joined the ceremonies.
