Taste of Wheaton Festival to Take Place in New Location

Taste of Wheaton Moved to County Parking Lot 17

For the last two decades, the Taste of Wheaton Festival was held in the Wheaton Traingle Business District, but this year’s venue has changed due to ongoing construction on the Wheaton Revitalization Project.

This year’s event will be held in County Parking Lot 17 located at 2320 Price Avenue near the Wheaton Metro Station.

Residents will have the chance to try foods from various local restaurants and enjoy a full day of entertainment, according to a news release. Samples of food from Wheaton’s variety of restaurants will range in price from $1 to $5 per “taste.”

The free festival will also feature family activities, exhibitors, and a wine and beer garden.

Organizers are still looking for exhibitors for the festival. Applications for exhibitors must be submitted by May 18.
